Community Voices in New York has begun a local advocacy campaign to raise State and City-wide attention of the 2.2 million uninsured New Yorkers. On Wednesday, May 4th, in partnership with the Generations+/Northern Manhattan Health Network (Gen+) and Community Premier Plus, Community Voices hosted an insurance enrollment drive and had an informational booth on best practices to reduce the rank of the uninsured.

Gen+ is the largest network within New York City’s Health and Hospitals Corporation (HHC), the municipality’s public hospital system. Affiliated with Columbia, Cornell, and New York University Medical Schools, Gen+ includes Harlem, Lincoln, and Metropolitan hospitals, Renaissance network, and the Morrisania, and Segundo Ruiz Belvis Family health centers. With a mission of providing quality care with dignity and compassion, regardless of ethnicity, nationality, religion, or ability to pay, Gen+ serves Northern Manhattan, Harlem, and the South Bronx.
Community Premier Plus, Inc.
