The Men's Health Initiative at Denver Health Community Voices is committed to increasing access to and affordability of healthcare, as well as reducing health disparities and improve seamlessness of care to underserved men in Denver.
Components of the program include:
- Outreach by male Community Health Advisors in targeted neighborhoods and at the Denver County Jail
- Community-based health assessments and services
– Enrollment
– Health and resource referrals
– Information and education
– Basic health screenings
- Case Management for men with complex health problems
- Denver Health’s network of preferred providers for men
- Best practices for conditions unique to men
- Denver Health Urology Center of Excellence
